Our goal is to provide Michigan Tech students interested in the recording industry a way of gaining professional, real world experience in the field. We offer free recording services to any student or local artist and groups. We try to further the knowledge of music recording to the organization's members by taking on every aspect and task of the industry. That includes everything from the initial recording, to the mixing, mastering, and even printing and promotion of an album if at all possible. We want to help foster the local music scene and inspire creativity and collaboration between artists. We also try to inspire an interest in audio and the audio arts through our involvement with other campus organizations.

Alpha Delta Alpha is a local sorority that takes pride in each member's individuality, independence and inner strength. We are an organization that prides itself in our long lasting bonds of sisterhood and we are founded on good times and good friends. Because we are a smaller local organization, we value close friendships that will withstand a lifetime. We are a support system and a home away from home. All of us have decided to pursue higher education and support each other's academic and professional endeavors. We promote a balanced lifestyle including physical health through participation in intramural activities. Civic awareness and philanthropy are key aspects of Alpha Delta Alpha, promoted by requiring 9 hours of service in the fall and 5 hours in the spring by each member. We encourage and maintain a level of idealism, balanced with the responsibilities of academics and daily life. We develop members to focus on serious pursuits while enjoying a light-hearted attitude towards life. Members of Alpha Delta Alpha are accepting of all people, no matter their age, race, gender, orientation, theology, etc. Finally, Alpha Delta Alpha carries a spirit inspired by universal sisterhood. Once an ADA, always an ADA.
Alpha Epsilon Delta: Theta Chapter, is Michigan Tech's Pre-Health Honor Society! As a national honor society, Alpha Epsilon Delta (AED) provides the opportunities for potential scholarships, professional connections, lifetime membership, and national conventions. The MTU Theta chapter has provided grad school tours, cadaver labs, philanthropy and volunteering opportunities, as well as academic support to pre-health and pre-med students. Our mission is to provide exposure and involvement in current health issues, encourage philanthropy and prepare students for academic success. We do so by providing resources and contact opportunities for students to get involved in health organizations, charities and the local community. We also encourage academic excellence through mentorship and group study. We honor rolling admission to the honor society, so feel free to contact us to join!
