Academic Affairs and Office of the Provost

The Provost and Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs is the chief academic officer of the university, responsible for the quality of Michigan Tech’s academic programs and its faculty. The provost is a member of the President's Council and leads both the Deans Council and the Academic Forum to develop academic policy and procedure. The provost also leads the accreditation effort through the Open Pathway program of the Higher Learning Commission.
