International Programs and Services (IPS)

Did you know that more than 1,200 international students and scholars from more than 60 countries come to Michigan Tech to create the future? Our office is one of their first stops on campus because we help Huskies prepare for, thrive, and transition from studies abroad. We work across campus, and with international partners, to expand understanding, knowledge, and cultural exchanges that enrich the world. We also help Huskies study abroad–attend a “study abroad 101 workshop” for more information. We hold a number events throughout the year, including holiday trips, Thanksgiving dinner, and Parade of Nations.
