J. Robert Van Pelt and John and Ruanne Opie Library

A café, three-season garden/patio, and a service center that lends laptops, scientific calculators, cameras and other convenience equipment contributes to making the library the busiest building on campus with over 650,000 visits per year. We are open an extended number of hours per week and offer overnight access. Our University Archives and Copper Country Historical Collections focus on the history, culture, and peoples of our region with a special emphasis on mining history and commerce and the University’s history.
