The Michigan Technological University Senate is the representative body for academic and research faculty and professional staff. The Senate is vested with the responsibility and authority to review and establish policy in a variety of areas, including matters of academic policy and procedures. The Senate is the principal forum for discussion of any matters of interest to the University community. Senate meetings are usually held in Dow 642 at 5:30 p.m. twice a month during the academic year.
