Join us at the Ford Center and Forest in historic Alberta Village for a fun-filled day including art and craft vendors, music, food, a car show, demonstrations, and activities. This year's event will not only highlight recent efforts to restore the sawmill, but also feature educational displays in one of the original Ford-built schoolhouses, guest speakers from MTU and Ford Motor Company, and a nature hike!
Here's the schedule.
10 am - 4 pm: Vendors, car show, food, and demonstrations
10 am - 4 pm: Displays in the historic classroom
10 am: A talk about Ford's Village Industries in the Danis Room
11 am - 2 pm: Music on the lawn by Good Times Music of Houghton
11 am: Short hike to the Nature Megaphone from the Danis Room
1 pm: Ford Center Director Mark Rudnicki talks about MTU's relationship with Alberta—past, present, and future, in the Danis Room
2 pm: Henry Ford Heritage Association President and MTU alum Todd Bryan presents "Alberta, the Jewel of Ford's Northern Michigan Operations" in the Danis Room
