 o Yamamoto\, an award-winning theatre performer\, is coming to the Rozsa C
 enter to bring her solo show\, “Japanese Storytelling with Magical Mask\
 , Mime and Music” to local school children as part of the Rozsa's Class 
 Acts Series.\n\nIn addition to her Class Acts performances\, Kuniko has gr
 aciously offered to lead a Japanese Tea Ceremony in an intimate Rozsa Back
 stage event for a limited group of participants in an effort to help raise
  funds to support future Class Act opportunities.\n\nKuniko’s Koto Green
  Tea Ceremony is half storytelling and lecture demonstration and half musi
 cal performance. Fascinating stories of Zen\, Samurai and Tea and how they
  are connected are shared along with the history and demonstration of the 
 Tea Ceremony. In this experiential presentation each audience member will 
 have a cup of green tea to taste that is special in Japan. The presentatio
 n is 30 minutes followed by Q&A and can range from 45-60 minutes in total 
 run time. Due to the intimacy of this presentation\, it is limited to 50 p
 eople.\n\nThe process of serving the tea is part of the presentation. Simi
 lar to how a participant would enter and be received at traditional tea ho
 use. The process is a slow and thoughtful one. The tea is served about 15 
 minutes into the presentation. Participants will leave their seats and com
 e up to the front to select their cup and have Kuniko serve the tea from h
 er teapot.   \n\nTickets for the event are $50 minimum and include the cer
 emony\, a tea cup to take home created specifically for this event by loca
 l artist Kenyon Hansen\, and a donation to the Class Acts Endowment Fund.\
 n\nThis is an opportunity to take part in and learn about an ancient Japan
 ese ceremony while also helping to support the Rozsa's effort to bring the
  performing arts to Upper Peninsula's school children. Space is limited\,

 n\, Kuniko\, an award-winning theatre performer\, came to the United State
 s in 1985 to study theatre with Tony Montanaro. For the last 2 decades she
  performed her solo show\, “Japanese Storytelling with Magical Mask\, Mi
 me and Music” “Origami Tales” in venues such as Disney Epcot Center\
 , The Kennedy Center and National Storytelling Festival. As a teaching art
 ist\, she taught Origami Math and Storytelling at more than 2\,000 schools
