Join the Department of Humanities and the Department of Visual and Performing Arts in celebrating the 40th Anniversary of the Walker Arts and Humanities Center.  The building originated as the Sherman Gym; in 1985 it reopened after full renovation to be a home for the arts and humanities, thanks to a gift from Mr and Mrs. Shaw and Bette Walker.   Walk the halls and visit the classrooms to learn more about the research and creative work that is being done by students and faculty throughout the building.
