Amy Trahey works to help ensure the safety and integrity of Michigan's bridges, both above and below the water. She is president and founder of Great Lakes Engineering Group, a civil engineering firm with offices in Lansing, Detroit and Grand Rapids. As chief engineer and Mackinac Bridge Authority executive secretary, Kim Nowack has vast experience and familiarity with the Mighty Mac, overseeing bridge maintenance work, contracted design, inspection and construction work. Together they will talk about how bridge safety is ensured across the state
