After School: Amazing Animals

After School Science and Engineering Classes 2018

Grades 1-2

TUESDAYS    Jan. 23 - Feb. 27

Classes meet Tuesday in GLRC 104. Explore the world of animals from insects to mammals. Learn about the habitats and how they interact with each other and the environment.

All classes will meet in the Great Lakes Research Center. The six sessions will run from 4 to 5:30 p.m. Jan. 22 to Feb. 28. These hands-on explorations are taught by Michigan Tech science and engineering students. A Houghton Elementary School bus will drop off students at the GLRC by 3:45 p.m. There is an additional $6 fee to ride the bus.

The cost is $75 per student in grades one through five and $90 per student for grades six through eight. Register by Monday, Jan. 15. Register online and pay by credit card here. Spaces are not reserved until payment has been received.
