After School Science and Engineering Classes 2017

6 sessions ~ 4:00-5:30 p.m. (no class week of Thanksgiving)
Explore the science behind heartbeats and exercise, the human skeleton and muscles, sense of taste, sugar and teeth, and life without a thumb! How do nutrition and healthy choices make our bodies stronger? Be an engineer and design a prosthetic hand that can you can use to hold a cup!
Taught by Michigan Tech science and engineering students.
Location: All classes meet in 104 Great Lakes Research Center (GLRC)
Houghton Elementary School bus will drop off students at the GLRC by 3:45 pm
Cost: $75/student. Pay by credit card by calling MTU Cashier 487-2622
