Abstract: As electric vehicles’ use widespread, there is an increasing availability of batteries that are discarded after only having used 20 percent of their capacity. The reason behind this is the demanding conditions of vehicle propulsion. After the used batteries are removed from the vehicle and new batteries are fitted, the used ones can either be recycled for materials or re-used in what is called a second life.

A meet and greet will follow the presentation with refreshments provided.
