Michigan Tech's Office of Alumni Engagement, with staff from the University Archives and current student members of the Blue Key Honor Society, invite all alumni to the Opie Reading Room in the Library from 10 a.m.- 1 p.m. on Saturday, February 7, 2026 for a social. Coffee and hot chocolate will be provided. A special limited-time exhibit, "Snowy Themes and Festive Scenes: Photos and Memorabilia of Carnivals Gone By," will feature vintage photos, memorabilia, pictorials, and yearbooks, especially those keepsakes that celebrate snow statues and outdoor winter fun from carnivals gone by.
