Join the Railroad Engineering and Activities Club on Monday, April 15th at 7:00 pm in Fisher 101 for an in-person presentation from the Steam Railroad Institute.
The presenters are Dean Pyers and Steve Wheeler from the Steam Railroad Institute. The Steam Railroad Institute dedicates itself to the education of the public on the steam railroading era in Michigan and the Great Lakes Region as well as the preservation of skills and knowledge essential to maintaining and operating steam-era equipment. SRI has come to share their expertise in steam locomotives as well as the history behind the Chicago & North Western 175 and its operations in the UP including right here in Houghton/Hancock.

Also, we will be taking sign-ups for the Arema conference. There will likely be more opportunities to sign up but this will be the best time to reserve a seat. There will be a $50 deposit to hold your spot.
