Art Exhibit by Senior Timothy Radtke - RAW Emotion - Nevermore

In his poem "The Raven", Edgar Allan Poe uses nevermore to invoke the feeling haunting and longing for his lost love — his lost emotion. In a similar manner, Timothy Radtke presents visual works of art that draw inspiration from haunting emotions, and encourages them to be brought out from underneath the surface: from underneath the floorboards. The works place emphasis on what emotion is capable of and encourages discussion on how mental illnesses disguised as strong emotions are often hidden. To have emotion is to be human, but to deny it is to deny your humanity — nevermore.
