Husky Bites presents Special Guest David Flaspohler
Interim Dean and Professor, College of Forest Resources and Environmental Science
Michigan Technological University
Co-hosts
Forest Science PhD student Ryne Rutherford, and undergraduate Brendan Leddy, a Social Sciences major with a concentration in Policy, Law, and Society.
Worldwide, birding numbers grew dramatically during the pandemic as people looked for safe, healthy activities to replace some of the social things they used to do. During Husky Bites, Dr. Flaspohler will talk about the practice of bird watching/birding, how one can get involved in it, the many physical and mental health benefits of birding–and what we can learn from birds that will enrich our lives and help us deal with challenges in life. Joining in will be two Michigan Tech students, both avid birders.
Join us early at 5:45 p.m. for conversation and a weather update.
