World Water Day Event

Community Art Show - "The Art of Valuing Water"

Call for Submission: Artwork should be submitted between February 1, 2021 to March 1, 2021 for inclusion in the art show. Please direct any questions to Jessica Daignault at jkdaigna@mtu.edu.

World Water Day 2021 is about what water means to people and other creatures, and how we can better protect this vital resource. The Michigan Tech World Water Day Art Show is an opportunity for local artists and community members of all ages to share what water means to them through creativity and creation! Submissions can be art of any media type: paintings, drawings, photographs, poems, ceramics, fiber arts, songs, and more. Submit Your Artwork! In light of the pandemic and to keep our community healthy, the art show will be completely virtual in the form of an online media gallery.

To participate in the event, please submit the following to Jessica Daignault at jkdaigna@mtu.edu with the subject line “WWD Art Submission”:

1. A high-resolution photograph or other applicable file attachment of your artwork.

2. Title of your artwork.

3. Brief description of your art and how it connects with the theme.

4. Note if you would like your artwork to be offered for sale, and if so, price.
