Tomorrow needs Michigan Tech. But what does Michigan Tech need to meet the needs of Tomorrow?

Register now and join fellow students, staff, and faculty for a virtual Town Hall conversation to help craft the plan for the future of Michigan Tech. The campus community will have the opportunity to hear from University leadership and learn more about the Campus Master Plan process from the consultant team.

The session will be more than informational—it's also intended to spark conversation around a series of emerging themes.

Town hall participants will:

  • Hear opening comments from President Rick Koubek and CFO Sue Kerry
  • See a short overview presentation from the SmithGroup consultant team
  • Break into groups for breakout room discussion
  • Share group discussion highlights with the full group
  • Continue the discussion in the Campus Master Plan online forum

Please join us virtually—register today and add the event to your calendar. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.

________

Why is a Campus Master Plan important?
A master plan is an incredible tool that gives universities an opportunity to re-examine their direction every 10 to 20 years and prioritize near- and long-term capital improvement goals.

The Campus Master Plan guides the development of our campus, providing a short- and long-term framework that is clear, flexible, and implementable. The Plan is a living document that is bold, visionary, and capable of accepting modifications to adjust to future initiatives without compromising it’s core values. The Campus Master Plan builds alignment between the University’s  goals  and  its  capital  investments.
