Experience a beloved Copper Country legacy at the Chassell Country Western Music Show on May 9th, 2026. This long-standing Upper Peninsula tradition features the talented community members as well as the Chassell Township Schools Band performing country favorites.
A portion of the proceeds directly support our students' music education, instruments, and upcoming fine arts travels.

About the Performers
The Chassell Band is comprised of dedicated students in grades 7 through 12. Throughout the year, the ensemble performs both a Christmas and a Spring concert, and they are well-known for firing up the crowd during home basketball games.
Bringing the "Grand Ole" tradition to life, the talented Chassell Band and their guests offer a setlist of beloved classics. From the soulful harmonies to the foot-stamping energy of local UP Country Musicians, this performance proudly showcases the diverse skills and passion of our local student musicians and artists.
About the Presenter
Notes from Home is a group dedicated to bolstering the Chassell Township Schools band and music program in Chassell, Michigan. The group helps raise funds, notably through events like the Chassell Country Western Show, which features local talent to support music education. The Chassell Band itself consists of 7th-12th grade students who perform concerts and play at home basketball games.
