What: Many research funding solicitations include requirements for evaluation plans. Even when an evaluation plan is not required, it’s important to think about how you will measure and communicate to your funder the outputs of your research. A well-thought-out evaluation plan—whether as a required proposal document or a proposal project description component—will increase the competitiveness of your proposal. The session will lead participants through the important decision points of research evaluation plans as well as the “how,” “when,” and “how much” of engaging an evaluator on your research project. There will be a Q&A session near the end of the hour session.
