Join Michigan Tech alumni and friends at the Desert Hockey Classic Tournament on Friday, January 6, 2023, and Saturday, January 7, 2023, hosted at the Mullett Arena in Tempe, AZ. An alumni pregame social will kick off the tournament weekend on Friday, January 6, 2023, at Devils Advocate Sports Grill from 1-2:30 p.m MST. An appearance will be made by a special guest, Head Coach Joe Shawhan. The pregame venue is located at 995 E University Dr, Tempe, AZ 85281. Food and beverage will be available for individual purchase. 

The game times for the first games of both Friday and Saturday have been moved back from 3 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. MST. Operations wants to minimize the amount of time between both games since a single game ticket is essentially a single day ticket which is good for both games and therefore, facilities are not requiring fans to leave in between games. The second game will be at 7 p.m. as planned. 

Hosts for the pregame are Stephen Williams '86, a member of the Alumni Board of Directors, Lisa Williams '88, Jay Clark '88, Angie Clark '89, and Greg Carlson '86. 

RSVP for the pregame is requested. The deadline to rsvp for the pregame is noon on Monday, January 2, 2023.
