Instructor, Kinesiology and Integrative Physiology
Michigan Technological University
Co-hosts
Jennifer (Jung) Lucas and Kaycee Meiners
During Husky Bites, we’ll hear from a volleyball coach (Matt Jennings), an alumna (Jen Lucas) and a current player to hear why they chose Tech volleyball and what it’s like being a student-athlete at Michigan Tech. They’ll also share where the program has been, and where it’s going.
Matt Jennings is the seventh volleyball coach in Michigan Tech history. He teaches classes at Michigan Tech, as well, including a class in Sports Psychology. Before making the move to the UP he served as an assistant coach and recruiting coordinator at the University of Pittsburgh. Alumna Jen (Jung) Lucas ‘09 was a middle blocker on Tech’s women’s volleyball team while earning her degree in Scientific and Technical Communications at Michigan Tech. She’s now back on campus again, this time working as MTU’s assistant vice president of alumni relations.
Join us early at 5:45 p.m. for conversation and a weather update.
