The Indigenous Peoples' Day Campaign and the Social Justice Lecture Series are hosting Roxanne Dunbar-Ortiz at  5 p.m. Monday, Oct. 10 in MUB Ballroom A.

Dunbar-Ortiz is an acclaimed historian, author, and activist. She tells the history of the United States as told from the perspective of Indigenous peoples. This is a presentation not to miss and one that has deep roots in the Keweenaw, the state of Michigan and the very land Michigan Tech is built on.

This event is free and open to the public.
