First Friday Social
Please join us to celebrate our two newest colleges at this month’s First Friday Social. The College of Forest Resources and Environmental Science and the College of Business are hosting the social which will be held in the main atrium of the U.J. Noblet Forestry Building from 4-6pm on Friday, December 6th. We will feature research displays from the Wildlife, Genetics and Biotechnology, GIS and Remote Sensing programs, as well as displays from the Northern Institute of Applied Climate Science at the USDA Forest Service and the College of Business. Graduate and undergraduate students will also be presenting posters from recent conferences. We look forward to sharing some of the roles of the new colleges as Michigan Tech addresses the opportunities and challenges of the 4th industrial revolution! An additional highlight will be foods that represent many natural edibles from the forests, lakes, and local plant communities. All faculty, staff, and graduate students from Michigan Tech are welcome!
