GeekU.P. was founded to celebrate comics, gaming, film, art, and more, all for raising money for local organizations!  Come get your geek on!

We have fantastic celebrity guests such as Actor Dean Haglund, from the hit television series and movie The X-Files, Marvel illustrator, Jerry DeCaire, one of the original artists of the popular comic book character Deadpool, and Actor and Voice Actor Patricia Summersett, known as Princess Zelda in Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. All will be available for autographs and Q & A sessions! 

Also, Northbound Saga will be at GeekU.P. They are an independent, post-apocalyptic sci-fi web series set in the Upper Peninsula and the writers and producers are not only locals, but they also are fully committed to keeping the show in the U.P.!

Our charity recipient for this year is “Don’t Do It Yourself” (D.D.I.Y.).  This wonderful organization serves as an emergency funding source for the people of Houghton and Keweenaw counties that are facing financial hardship due to a medical crisis.  GeekU.P. brings an exciting festival to our area that most folks must drive considerable distances to attend with one big difference, we raise money for local charities!
