 slamophobia\, or others)\, death and/or dying\, mental health\, police bru

 ssor of Communication and Media Studies at the University of Miami and a g
 lobally recognized identity scholar. A past president of the National Comm
 unication Association\, Dr. Jackson is an award-winning author with over 8
 5 publications on masculinity\, identity negotiation\, race\, and culture.
  His accolades include being inducted as an International Communication As
 sociation Fellow and a National Communication Association Distinguished Sc
 holar. "Dr. J" has lectured internationally and authored 18 books\, includ
 ing works on African American communication\, popular culture\, and media 
 representation. Beyond academia\, he has founded three companies\, includi
 ng a consulting firm and an educational games company\, showcasing his div
 erse expertise and entrepreneurial spirit.\n\n About the Bridging Communit
 ies Series\n\nThe Bridging Communities Series at Michigan Tech offers stud
 ents\, faculty\, and staff opportunities to engage in meaningful conversat
 ions that explore different perspectives and foster understanding. Through
