This is a past event.

Students, faculty, and staff are invited to join us for a brown bag lunch time talk given by Clark Sprague, Mechanical Engineering Major and Pavlis Honors College New Venture Pathway student.  As part of their New Venture immersion experience, Clark participated in a new internship opportunity over the summer with the MTEC SmartZone, a local business and technology incubator.

As an intern, Clark had a unique opportunity to interface with MTEC clients and learn how to support innovators and startup businesses at various phases of development.  While there, Clark went through MTEC's SmartStart program and developed their own business idea - Flotilla (a new way to move in the Copper Country). Clark will share insights about the New Venture pathway, their internship, how MTEC can be a resource, their business concept, and what’s next for them on the New Venture pathway.
