Seminar Abstract: This seminar will provide an overview of the California Independent System Operator (CAISO’s) energy and ancillary services markets and the integration of large-scale energy storage in California. The talk will conclude by summarizing California’s operational experience in operating the electric grid with high penetration of energy storage, as well as a projection of future growth of storage in California.
