"Make a Difference Day," is the largest national day of community service, in which the Michigan Tech community comes together to serve our community. Volunteer projects vary based on the needs of local agencies and community members. Painting, weeding, planting, digging, raking, cleaning, organizing, and moving are all likely projects that we have seen in the past. If you are interested in signing up as a service location, you may do so through our Service Site Registration Form.

Students, staff, and faculty are invited to register as volunteers for Make a Difference Day. The registration will close on Sunday, October 20th, 2024. Registered volunteers receive a free t-shirt for participating. 

Check-in will occur from 8:30 - 9:00 AM in the Commons on the ground floor of the MUB for all registrants. Information packets will be distributed and from there, groups will travel to their assigned service locations. Projects may require that groups drive to their location.
