The Institute for Policy, Ethics, and Culture is presenting "Justice in Transition," a virtual speaker series in March and April. Marc Bamuthi Joseph, Spoken Word Artist and Arts Activist will kick off the series on Tuesday, March 23, at 7:00 pm via Zoom Webinar.
“The Arc of Systemic Solidarity” will be a keynote that invites participants to consider how we move from a paradigm of *gestural* anti-racism to *structural* and generative allyship. MBJ will use his multiple roles as artist, citizen philosopher, educator, and Vice President of Social Impact at the Kennedy Center as launching points for a discussion on how we collectively design a future of “inspiration for all."
Mary Jennings, Director of Programming at the Rozsa Center for the Performing Arts, will host a discussion and Q&A with Bamuthi after his presentation.
