Our speaker is Sean Pengelly, P.E. from Lake State Railway. Sean will be speaking on business development for shortline railroads including topics like reactivating industry spurs, transload opportunities, etc. 

 

Sean Pengelly P.E., one of Railway Age's "25 under 40 Fast-Trackers", earned his education from both the Michigan Tech and University of Illinois Rail Programs and applies his knowledge as the Projects and Development Engineer for Lake State Railway. In his role, Sean oversees a variety of maintenance of way activities for Lake State as well as cultivating new business development for the railroad.
