The Institute for Policy, Ethics, and Culture is presenting "Work in Transition," a speaker series exploring the future of work in partnership with the Portage Lake District Library. Matt Beane, assistant professor of technology management at UC Santa Barbara, will speak on Tuesday, March 21, at 7:00 pm via Zoom Webinar.

Matt Beane is a leading expert on work involving robots, His field research examines the ways in which AI and intelligent machines are changing work and the broader implications of these technologies for workers, managers, and organizations.

Beane's presentation is titled "How AI Technology Affects the Future of Work.

Jason Archer, assistant professor of communication and media technologies, will host a discussion and Q&A following Beane's presentation.
