Join us on Thursday, July 11, 2024, for a day of fun at Grand Traverse Resort! 

Michigan Tech Alumni Golf Outing 2024 Information: 

From 1-5:30 p.m., golfers will compete in a four-person scramble with the opportunity to win MTU-branded prizes. Alumni and friends are welcome to sign up as foursomes, pairs, or individual golfers. We will work with the resort's golf pro to arrange singles and pairs to foursomes. Following the tournament, all participants are welcome to join fellow golf outing participants and guests for a cocktail reception. This post-outing gathering will feature refreshing drinks, complimentary hors d'oeuvres, and the presentation of prizes. We also extend an invitation for additional guests to join us for the cocktail reception.

The cost is $160/player. Entry fee includes green fees, a golf cart, lunch, and access to the cocktail reception.  Additionally, mulligans, providing an opportunity for a replay shot without penalty, can be purchased during online registration at the cost of $10 each. Please note that mulligans are limited to one per golfer. All proceeds from mulligan sales will go directly into enhancing the event.

Full schedule is as follows:

• 11:30 a.m. Registration & Lunch
• 1 p.m. Shotgun Start (Ready-golf will apply on tees, fairways, and greens to optimize pace of play.)
• 5:30 p.m. Cocktail Reception Begins
• 6 p.m. Individual and Team Awards Presented

The deadline to purchase tickets is noon on Wednesday, July 3.  Note: All sales are final. In the case of inclement weather a lunch and cocktail hour will still be held at Grand Traverse Resort.
