 ake Linden. This concert is an annual fundraiser for the Society of St. Vin

 usic\, part of the Michigan Tech Visual and Performing Arts Department\, of
 fers ten music performance groups: bands\, orchestra\, jazz\, and choral en
 sembles that expose students\, faculty\, and the community to the artistic 
 and communicative values of music and the power it has to change lives.\n\n
 The Michigan Tech Concert Choir is a select ensemble of students and commun
 ity singers studying and performing choral literature ranging from Gregoria
 n Chant to Renaissance motets\, masses and madrigals to fascinating new wor
 ks by living composers.\n\nconScience: Michigan Tech Chamber Singers is a s
 elect\, student-only chamber choir of 24 voices. Pronounced\, “conscience\,
 ” the small ensemble performs varied styles and time periods (from antiquit
 y to the present) in formal and informal performance settings. The choir pe
 rforms locally and also tours regionally. \n\nJared Anderson is Chair of th
 e Department of Visual and Performing Arts and Director of Choral Activitie
 s at Michigan Tech where he conducts conScience: Michigan Tech Chamber Sing
 ers and the Michigan Tech Concert Choir.
