 tra\n\nFounded in 1971\, the Keweenaw Symphony Orchestra (KSO) is the Uppe
 r Peninsula’s oldest orchestra and one of five symphony orchestras in th
 e Lake Superior region. The KSO is a college-community ensemble composed o
 f Michigan Tech students\, faculty and staff\, and community musicians. Th
 e orchestra performs four to five concerts per year—including orchestral
  masterworks\, choral-orchestral\, music theatre\, ballet\, opera\, and po
 ps—in the Rozsa Center for the Performing Arts.\n\n \n\nMichigan Tech Co
 ncert Choir\n\nLed by Jared Anderson\, the Michigan Tech Concert Choir is 
 a select ensemble of students and community singers studying and performin
 g choral literature ranging from Gregorian Chant to Renaissance motets\, m
 asses and madrigals to fascinating new works by living composers.\n\n \n\n
 conScience: Michigan Tech Chamber Singers\n\nconScience: Michigan Tech Cha
 mber Singers\, led by Jared Anderson is a select\, student-only chamber ch
 oir of 24 voices. Pronounced\, “conscience\,” the small ensemble perfo
 rms varied styles and time periods (from antiquity to the present) in form
 al and informal performance settings. The choir performs locally and also

 nd experience Michigan Tech Jazz as it transforms the Rozsa and McArdle Th
 eatre into Orchestra\, stirring Michigan Tech Choirs\, and inventive New M
 usic events. Feel the dynamic energy of the Superior Wind Symphony\, Campu
 s Concert Band\, and iconic Huskies Pep Band\, intimate jazz clubs.\n\nPar
 t of the the annual Rozsa Season\, the Michigan Tech Art\, Music\, and The
 atre Series are presented by the Visual and Performing Arts Department. Th
 rough these series\, students and faculty create art that connects us to t
 he world. With majors in audio production and technology\, sound design\, 
 theatre and entertainment technology\, and nine minors\, the department fo
 sters creativity\, self-motivation\, and the development of practical and
