Light refreshments served.\n\nCON TENT GUIDANCE | TBD\n\n About Anne Beffel\n\nAnne Beffel is an artist and Professor at Michigan Technological University. As an artist\, she hopes t o raise questions about social justice as she offers opportunities to expe rience empathy and inclusiveness among those who encounter her work. Since earning degrees from the University of Michigan\, and the University of I owa\, and participating in the Whitney Museum of American Art’s Independ ent Studio Program in New York City she has worked within contexts as dive rse as the World Financial Center in Lower Manhattan\; Saint John’s Bene dictine monastery in rural Minnesota\; and New York Downtown Hospital and surrounding streets\, offices\, and community centers.
