 TENT GUIDANCE | TBD\n\n About Anne Beffel\n\nAnne Beffel is an artist and 
 Professor at Michigan Technological University. As an artist\, she hopes t
 o raise questions about social justice as she offers opportunities to expe
 rience empathy and inclusiveness among those who encounter her work. Since
  earning degrees from the University of Michigan\, and the University of I
 owa\, and participating in the Whitney Museum of American Art’s Independ
 ent Studio Program in New York City she has worked within contexts as dive
 rse as the World Financial Center in Lower Manhattan\; Saint John’s Bene
 dictine monastery in rural Minnesota\; and New York Downtown Hospital and 
 surrounding streets\, offices\, and community centers. Her most recent pro
 jects have been at the Wycoff Superfund Site on Bainbridge Island\, WA\, N
 ew York\; the Gandhi statue in Union Square\, New York\; and Occidental Sq

 borations. The Michigan Tech Art Series offers dynamic programming that su

 al Rozsa Season\, the Michigan Tech Art\, Music\, and Theatre Series are p
 resented by the Visual and Performing Arts Department. Through these serie
 s\, students from across campus\, community members\, and faculty create a
 rt that connects us to the world. With majors in audio production and tech
 nology\, sound design\, theatre and entertainment technology\, and nine mi
 nors\, the department fosters creativity\, self-motivation\, and the devel
