MTU Glow Open

The MTU Glow Open is our inaugural glow in the dark disc golf tournament coordinated between the Outdoor Adventure Program and the MTU Disc Golf Club. Open to the public and students. It will be competed on a temporary 9-hole course constructed on the Michigan Tech athletic fields surrounding the SDC. In addition to playing disc golf at night on a new course, we will also have player packs provided by MVP that include a glow driver, glow putter, towel, and other accessories.

Prizes will be provided for the three highest finishers! First place will receive an MVP Pro Black Basket and 10 discs. Second place will receive an MVP banner and 10 discs, while 3rd place will receive a collection of 5 discs.

NOTE: You do not have to exclusively use discs provided in the player packs. However there is only a limited supply of LED disc strips that will be available. You should bring your own flashlight (Blacklight model recommended) for charging glow discs.

The course will be set up on Thursday and Friday. We ask that student that wish to practice on the course prior to competition register for the IM Leagues tournament happening on Friday. Community members are welcome to practice Friday afternoon and all day Saturday. We just ask that participants be respectful of the IM tournament and play before or after their event.
