 Voice and Sing" by Drea D'Nur featuring Malcom Parson\n\nPROGRAM\n\nThe Mo
 vement of Joy is an ongoing practice aimed to amass joy testimonials that 
 meditate on remembering and understanding the movement histories that live
  in our physical bodies through performance\, film\, writing\, archiving\,
  and oral traditions.\n\nWitness the joy of Black women and a host of mult
 idisciplinary artists who will create movements\, songs\, and poetry\, fro
 m the stories shared by these women. We will close with an immersive exper
 ience of community joy.\n\nContent Considerations // none\n\nABOUT\n\nA na
 tive of Buffalo\, New York\, Naila Ansari (she/her) is an award-winning ch
 oreographer\, director\, and performing artist. She is a distinguished MFA
  graduate from the University at Buffalo in Dance and a Cum Laude undergra
 duate of Point Park's Conservatory of Performing Arts Program. Ansari is a
 n original and former principal dancer for the August Wilson Center Dance 
 Ensemble. The company was named “Top 25 Dance Companies to Watch” in D
 ance Magazine for the 2012-2013 season\, featured at Jacob's Pillow and Su
 mmerStage NYC at Central Park. Ansari has danced and performed works for t
 he legendary Lula Washington Dance Theatre out of Los Angeles\, CA. She ha
 s had the privilege of dancing works by Robert Battle\, Kyle Abraham\, Cam
 ille A. Brown\, Darrell Grand Moultrie\, Sidra Bell\, and Trebien Pollard\
 , to name a few. Ansari's choreography has been set on a host of colleges\
 , universities\, professional theatres\, and commercial projects.\n\nStude
