Associates of the Department of Physics will be presenting The Great American Eclipse of 2017: Stories and Pictures
On August 21, North America was treated to a solar eclipse, with a narrow path of totality crossing the USA from Oregon to South Carolina. Many people involved with MTU's Physics Department witnessed this eclipse in some form, some traveling across the nation to see it. Several of these people have volunteered to share their eclipse stories and pictures. A brief scientific introduction will be given, and afterward the floor will be opened for questions about the eclipse.
