Fundamentals of Journal Paper Writing and the Implication for Proposal and Report Development
Abstract:
Writing scientific manuscripts is one of the important training for undergraduate and graduate students. Furthermore, such manuscripts would be published in peer-reviewed journals, books, and encyclopedias as the permanent record that summarizes the research finding. I will discuss the fundamentals of writing quality journal papers in this seminar. The broader implication for writing manuscripts for selective journals and proposals to funding agencies will be addressed.
