6 p.m. Pre-Film Party - Festive Family Fun

Join us for a family-friendly holiday pre-party filled with festive activities and sponsored by the Keweenaw Community Foundation Youth Advisory Council (YAC). From 6-7:30 p.m., the Rozsa Lobby will be filled with holiday-themed entertainment, including a snowflake craft station, cookie decorating, and more for the whole family to enjoy before the film. Be sure to get a selfie with loved ones by the Rozsa Christmas Tree to capture the memories!

7:30 p.m. Screening of A Muppet Christmas Carol Film

Tis the season for love, laughter and one of the most cherished stories of all time. Join Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy and all the hilarious Muppets in this merry, magical version of Charles Dickens' classic tale. Michael Caine gives a performance that's anything but "bah, humbug!" as greedy, penny-pinching Ebenezer Scrooge. One fateful Christmas Eve, Scrooge is visited by the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Future. Together with kind, humble Bob Cratchit (Kermit the Frog) and his family, these Spirits open Scrooge's eyes --- and his heart --- to the true meaning of Christmas.

8:45 p.m. Post-Film Party - Holiday Nostalgia Night with Mr. Cesar & the Lucha Tones

Stay post-film for Nostalgia Night - complete with holiday movie trivia and live music by Mr. Cesar & the Lucha Tones in the Rozsa Lobby, with holiday-themed drinks and snacks. Gather with friends and family to create lasting memories without the stress of hosting or cleaning up afterward! Music and trivia will kick off when the film ends, around 8:45 p.m.

About the Presenter

The Rozsa Center for the Performing Arts cultivates a vibrant and connected community through experiences that bring the Keweenaw together. Located on Michigan Technological University's campus in Houghton, Michigan, the 80,000-square-foot arts center's design is inspired by the inclined look of the local copper mine hoists and shaft houses inside and out.
