DESCRIPTION:We’re excited to announce that Michigan Tech's annual Research 
 Day will return to an in-person format for 2023 in the MUB. Our theme this 
 year is Research Networking. This day-long event is designed for all Michig
 an Tech researchers\, including academic faculty from all career stages and
  disciplines\, as well as other research-active individuals (e.g.\, researc
 h faculty\, research development staff\, research scientists & engineers\, 
 post-docs\, among others). All content is new for 2023\; thus\, returning p
 articipants are encouraged to attend.\n\nPlease use this form to RSVP as so
 on as possible so that we can get an accurate head count for lunch\, snacks
 \, and room arrangements.\n\nRegistration with coffee\, snacks\, and inform
 al networking will begin at 8:30 am. Morning sessions will run from 9:00-11
 :45 am\, with lunch and recognitions at noon. Afternoon sessions will begin
  at 1:00 pm and the day will conclude with a networking reception from 3:30
 -4:30 pm.\n\n \n\nThe day’s agenda will include:\n\nTime for introductions 
 and networkingInteractive panel discussions featuring stories of successful
  interdisciplinary networking and collaboration successesDiscussion of succ
 essful research networking strategiesA networking lunchInteraction and netw
 orking with Centers & InstitutesRecognitions of research successes in 2022B
 reakout sessions on topics such as: Collaboration via Overleaf (LaTeX)\, Go
 vernment Relations: Networking on the Hill\, Strategies for Success in Unde
 rgraduate Research Initiatives\, Research Administration Strategies for Suc
 cess\, Broadening Your Funding Prospects Through Corporate & Foundation Rel
 ationships\, and related topics.\n If your schedule does not allow you to a
 ttend the full day\, please consider joining us for the networking receptio
 n at the end of the day\, which will be held from 3:30-4:30 pm in MUB Ballr
 oom B. No RSVP is required for the reception\; please join us as we network
  with colleagues\, reflect on the day\, and informally celebrate the resear
 ch and scholarly accomplishments of colleagues over the past year.
