ROZSA PRESENTING SERIES EVENT
Outside it may feel like an ice age, but inside the Rozsa long extinct creatures are taking over! DINOSAUR WORLD LIVE, winner of the prestigious 2024 Olivier Award for Best Family Entertainment, comes to Houghton, MI as part of their third major tour of the United States. The interactive theatre show that brings dinosaurs to life on stage will be visiting the Rozsa Center on February 24, 2026 at 6:30 p.m. for a one night only performance.
"Dinosaur World Live is an inspirational show – it fires the imagination and teaches you things you might not know about famous dinosaurs like T-rex and triceratops, but also introduces you to dinosaurs you might not have heard of like microraptor and segnosaurus. My hope is that audiences will come out desperate to know more about dinosaurs, and with their imaginations working on all cylinders. It’s also interactive, encouraging the whole audience to get involved."
- Derek Bond, Writer and Director

About the Performers
Using stunning puppetry to bring remarkably life-like dinosaurs to the stage, DINOSAUR WORLD LIVE presents a host of impressive prehistoric creatures including everyone's favorite flesh-eating giant, the Tyrannosaurus Rex, along with a Giraffatitan, Microraptor, Segnosaurus and Triceratops. The show introduces Miranda, daughter of paleontologists, who grew up surrounded by dinosaurs on a far-away island off the coast of South America. She has brought her prehistoric pals to your local theatre and would love you to meet them. Warning: some of these dinosaurs aren’t as docile as they seem!
If you are looking for fun things to do with the kids, DINOSAUR WORLD LIVE delivers an entertaining and educational live show that promises to delight the whole family. Dino-lovers are urged to book fast before tickets become extinct!
About the Presenter
The Rozsa Center for the Performing Arts cultivates a vibrant and connected community through experiences that bring the Keweenaw together. Located on Michigan Technological University's campus in Houghton, Michigan, the 80,000-square-foot arts center's design is inspired by the inclined look of the local copper mine hoists and shaft houses inside and out. Event spaces include the Rozsa Lobby, James and Margaret Black Performance Hall, Rozsa Backstage, Rozsa Art Galleries, and McArdle Theatre.
As the largest theater in Michigan's Upper Peninsula, the Rozsa dramatically expands the region’s access to large-scale performing arts events including Broadway tours, ballet, cirque, music, and more.
