SciENcv: Build Your Biosketch

Virtual Event

SciENcv: Build Your Biosketch

What: This virtual session will help you get familiar with SciENcv (Science Experts Network Curriculum Vitae) and walk you through creating your first SciENcv biosketch. You can create biosketches for NIH, NSF, or other federal agencies using SciENcv.

Special note about the timing of this session: We understand that campus is adapting to COVID-19 and some may feel overwhelmed amid transitioning classes online and to new deadlines. That is completely understandable. We are offering two more of these sessions (which will be virtual as well) before June that you can attend when you might have a new normal. We wanted to offer this now for those of you who may be adapting by focusing on research proposals.

A little more about why we are holding these sessions for researchers on campus:

  • The new 2020 NSF PAPPG will require biosketches to be created in SciENcv, effective for proposals due on or after June 1, 2020.
  • This session is to help people see the system, get familiar with the process, and get on your way to creating biosketches for federal proposals.

Who should attend: If you plan on submitting an NSF proposal on or after June 1, 2020, you will need to be prepared to create biosketches this way. Again, we'll be holding at least two more of these sessions before June.
