The Research Development team is hosting a weekly Summer Research Proposal Meetup series to help the campus community along with proposal writing over the summer. Meetings will be on Wednesdays at noon, between June 10 and Aug. 26.

Through the summer, these informal, weekly chats can help you refine your research ideas and writing angles. You can also think of these chats as regular accountability measures to make sure you are making progress in your proposal development. 

These weekly sessions are not meant to duplicate the conversations that have been happening through the regular Research Q&A sessions that VPR has been facilitating. We are focusing these Summer Research Meetups to talk about a smaller subset of research conversations: proposals. That might mean we talk about proposal strategy, writing challenges, or specific funding solicitations and how to think about framing a response. 

Work with the Research Development staff. Connect with colleagues from across campus. Bring writing with you. Bring ideas to refine. And feel free to suggest topics that you'd like us to focus on.
