Conductor Joel Neves leads the Superior Wind Symphony in a shockingly good program of eclectic band favorites, including dramatic opera music, toe-tapping marches, a Mexican danzón, and "Gandalf" from Lord of the Rings.
Superior Winds Symphony (SWS) is conducted by Joel Neves, Associate Professor, Visual and Performing Arts. This auditioned ensemble of winds and percussion performs the music of composers spanning five centuries, living and not, from all genders, ethnicities and genres.
