Dave Adler, B.S. Geology '82, will focus on the benefits of membership in the American Institute of Professional Geologists (AIPG) to geoscience majors at Michigan Tech, the benefits of an AIPG student chapter, and the ultimate goal of AIPG certification as a Certified Professional Geologist (CPG). The process of becoming a CPG will be described. Emphasis will be given to professional development and career pursuits for Geoscience majors.
