Carnegie Museum Natural History Seminar Series

Alex Mayer (CEE) and David Watkins (CEE) will lead the panel discussion "2018 Father's Day Flood: An Overview of Green Infrastructure Opportunities and Preparedness for Future Flooding." The speakers will address the causes of flooding, the impact of land use on flooding and potential practices and technologies we could adopt in our area to lessen the impacts of future floods. The event is free and open to the public.

Prior to the panel discussion, the annual meeting of the Keweenaw Land Trust will take place at 6 p.m. That meeting is open to the public as well.
