 or of Communication and Media Studies at the University of Miami and a glob
 ally recognized identity scholar. A past president of the National Communic
 ation Association\, Dr. Jackson is an award-winning author with over 85 pub
 lications on masculinity\, identity negotiation\, race\, and culture. His a
 ccolades include being inducted as an International Communication Associati
 on Fellow and a National Communication Association Distinguished Scholar. "
 Dr. J" has lectured internationally and authored 18 books\, including works
  on African American communication\, popular culture\, and media representa
 tion. Beyond academia\, he has founded three companies\, including a consul
 ting firm and an educational games company\, showcasing his diverse experti
