Learn the roles that plastics play in our society and economy, and the ways plastics harm the enviroment, especially the oceans and its biodiversity. We'll talk about the limitations of current recycling technology, and new advanced recycling technology approaches. We also take a walk down a remote Lake Superior beach to hunt for waste plastics, show what we found, where we found it, and the implications.
